Current Project
Johanna Basford's Ivy and the Inky Butterfly, which is my current project, to follow me through out my journey working on this book please click on the book name on the top of this site.
I have started with the covers and working page by page from front to back. each page I do i will add Work In Progress pictures plus the completed page, what pencil colours I used, what colour gel pens, what I use to blend and my techniques.
I have also found that the covers get damaged and dirty quick so I have coloured both covers and covered it in clear sticky back plastic to protect it.
Other Projects
I dont just colour Johanna Basford books, I also colour RAF plane pictures from Terrane Ltd, Hannah Lynn pictures from her books, pictures from Deanna Harrison books. All book images I colour are available on Amazon. The RAF pictures from Terrane Ltd was available on there facebook page throughout the 2020 lockdown.
Materials I Use
Pencil Brands I use are Faber Castell Polychromos, Derwent Procolour, Derwent Metallic, Derwent Blending Pencil and Burnisher, Derwent Blending Pens. My Gel Pens I use are from either Hobbycraft, Poundland or Amazon.
Faber Castell pencils once i get low on I replace via Pullingers.com they are a great art supplier and fast delivery.
