Johanna Basford's Ivy & the Inky Butterfly.. Covers

I have started first by colouring the covers of the book as I have found previously Johanna Basford books get damaged and dirty whilst working on them.

I have used Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils, Derwent Blending Pencil and Gel Pens to colour the covers.

Once I had coloured the front cover and back cover I used a roll of clear sticky back plastic to cover the books covers and spine to protect them from getting damaged and dirty whilst i work through the book.
